I really don't have any measurements I do it by eye and taste.
Brown the ground meat with the chopped onion,salt,pepper,garlic powder.Add fresh or canned mushrooms,cream of mushroom soup.Depending on how much meat you use,eye how many cans of mushroom soup you will need.I put a little water to thin it down just a tad.but you don't want it runny!
Take potatos peel and cut up in small chunks.salt them and Fry until brown.Drain on paper towels. add these to your ground beef mixture.
Make your Instant mash Potatoes as normal.You want enough to have a few inches on top of casserole!
Take your Hamburger,potatoe mixture and put it in a deep backing dish or stew pot.Top that with Corn and green beans(I use canned)Then top with some chedar cheese.Add the mashed on top and then more chedar.bake on 400 until bubbley.

trishflores 1 year agoVery delicious if your a meat an potatoes person you will love it. I put minced onions and carrots in Pam with ground beef and frozen corn and garlic with my own spice mix and mashed rwhe potatoes and put cheese on top

Roxered 2 years agoMy family loved it! I only used a pound of lean beef and one can of cream of mushroom. Also added sour cream to the instant mash potatoes & panko to the the top layer of cheddar cheese for crisp top.
Janaynay 2 years agoI used 2.5 pounds of lean ground beef- and let it drain for 5 min. 2 cans of cream of mushroom and a can of milk. I used 1 bag of foz corn & green beans. I chopped green beans for even taste. A+++
Durst4 3 years agoI used ground chicken instead of beef. I also used real mashed potatoes instead of the instant for the layering. It turned out great! All of my family loved it. I will be making this recipe again in the near future!
