My take on this wonderful Dish..You will love it..Such Comfort Food.
"I found this recipe great, did not need measurements as it is pretty easy to figure out if yu have had shepards pie before. I substitued vegie ground round for the meat added vegetarian worchestershire sauce and a touch of soy sauce to give it a more meaty flavor worked exceptionally well." - zerachYield: 5 Ready in 2 hours, 10 minutes

Damon's shepards Pie Preparation
I really don't have any measurements I do it by eye and taste.
Brown the ground meat with the chopped onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder.Add fresh or canned mushrooms, cream of mushroom soup.Depending on how much meat you use,eye how many cans of mushroom soup you will need.I put a little water to thin it down just a tad.but you don't want it runny!
Take potatos peel and cut up in small chunks.salt them and Fry until brown.Drain on paper towels. add these to your ground beef mixture.
Make your Instant mash Potatoes as normal. You want enough to have a few inches on top of casserole!
Take your Hamburger, potatoe mixture and put it in a deep backing dish or stew pot.Top that with Corn and green beans(I use canned)Then top with some chedar cheese.Add the mashed on top and then more chedar.bake on 400 until bubbley.

Very good and pretty easy. Mix up meat with what ever veggies you want and put mashed potatoes on top.
