A favorite wine cocktail

"sounds very close to mine I don't use lemonade though - seems like that would be too sweet and tart. stick with the orange juice that should be fine. I do also use apple in my fruit but I let the cut up fruit marinade in some wine and the brandy first for about an hour before mixing all together... it helps draw out the juices and sugars. :)" - edoriv

Servings
Original recipe makes 6
1/2 cupbrandy
1/4 cuplemon juice
1/3 cupfrozen lemonade concentrate
1/3 cuporange juice
1 bottledry red wine
1/2 cuptriple sec
1 lemon; sliced into rounds
1 orange; sliced into rounds
1 lime; sliced into rounds
2 cupsclub soda

Sangria Preparation

Mix everything but club soda. Refrigerate overnight.

Any fruit you put into the sangria, cut off the rinds - if you let the sangria sit for long (which you should let it sit for at least 24 hours), the rinds will start to give your sangria a bitter taste.

Save some fruit to cut in a round and garnish each glass when you serve

Add club soda just before serving.
