Baked ziti is comprised of three components; sauce, filling and cooked pasta. These are assembled after being prepared, then baked before serving. The final result is reminiscent of lasagna, but much easier and faster to prepare. It's sure to become your family's favorite!
ifeyu ,I sautéed an onion, garlic and red bell pepper with the ground beef. I also added garlic powder and black pepper for more flavor. Also I didn't use all of the ziti. After all that it was flavorful and delicious. It was my first baked ziti and everyone loved it10y
clinda ,This was very good and easy to prepare. Very filling and goes well with garlic bread and salad. I cut the recipe in half and still have lots of leftovers. I made it for my boyfriend and family and they loved it and cleaned their plates.10y
janetwithaj ,I don't usually make recipes with tomato based sauce (we just don't get along) but this recipe didn't call for the sauce to be overwhelming. we loved this! will make it and share it.10y
michellebolhuis ,Easy to make, made my own sauce with garlic deer sausage and it was good. Love the cheese, I don't normally use ricotta. Will make again.10y
tinktink521 ,DELICIOUS and super easy to make!!!! Makes a lot so its great dinner if you an on having conpany .10y
missmissym ,Delish! I cut back on the cheese a bit to lessen the fat content. Boyfriend loved it!11y
prdill08 ,Great recipe! My family enjoyed it. I definitely need to reduce the serving size. Thankfully it reheats well.11y
jsnyder86 ,I reduced the servings to 8... it called for 2 jars of sauce (too lazy to make my own) I made the mistake of only using 1... I should have definitely used 2. I'm not a huge marinara fan so I thought it would be okay or better with less, I was greatly mistaken.11y
shellbea39 ,Very good! I will make again .. I messed up and added my ricotta mixture with pasta first but I think it brought the flavor thru out11y
cookinglamama ,Delicious! Made half and seasoned the meat. Also used turkey Italian sausage. Really good :)11y
nicolehite ,I use ground turkey, light ricotta cheese and use a mix of mozzarella and Monterey Jack. Also I mix it all up instead if using layers. Love it!!11y
cookinglamama ,Yum! Adjusted amount to accommodate family size and added some seasoning to the ground beef. But will cook again :)11y
