Original recipe makes 6
5 poundsChuck roast; cut to fit
2 cansFrench Onion Soup
16 ouncesBeer; (Killian Red)
2 ouncesWhiskey; (Jack Daniels)
2 cubesBeef bouillon
1 tbspGarlic Powder; or Cloves
1 tbspOnion Flakes
12 Baby Potatoes
1 packageBaby Carrots; (up to 2 packages)

Easy Easter Roast Beef Preparation

Braise roast in 400 F. oven for one hour.

SMOKED: Wrap Roast & Marinade in Aluminum Foil. Place in Smoker at 225 degrees. Placed water soaked hickory chips around the outside edges of roast

Introduce baby potatoes and carrots after 2 1/2 hours. Smoke for 1 1/2 hours and check roast. Cook the remaining 1 hour if needed.

CROCK POT: Add all ingredients together with roast in crock pot. Stir a bit and simmer 4-5 hours on high.
