4 submarine sandwich buns
1 poundground beef
1 mediumGreen pepper; diced
1 smallonion
1 cancondensed cheddar cheese soup; (undiluted)
1/4 teaspoonWorcestershire sauce
4 slicesAmerican cheese

Hot Beef & Cheddar Subs Preparation

Preheat oven to 350.

Cut a thin slice off the top of each bun, set tops aside. Carefully hollow out

bottoms, leaving a 1/2-inch shell. Set aside 1/2 cup bread.

In a large skillet, cook beef, green pepper & onion over medium heat until

meat is no longer pink; drain.

Stir in the soup, Worcestershire sauce and reserved bread.

Spoon into buns; top each with a slice of cheese. Replace tops.

Place on an ungreased baking sheet and bake, uncovered for 5-7 min,

or until cheese is melted.
