Horseradish Cole Slaw
Ingredients
Original recipe makes 8
| 5 cupsgreen cabbage; shredded |
| 5 cupsred cabbage; shredded |
| 2 cupscarrots; shredded |
| 1/4 cupgreen onions; finely sliced |
| 2 teaspoonsLemon juice |
| 1/2 cupCider vinegar |
| 1/4 cupsugar |
| 1 1/2 teaspoonsSalt |
| 1 teaspoonBlack Pepper; freshly ground |
| 1 cupMayonnaise |
| 1/4 cupSour cream |
| 1 tablespoonCreole mustard or other coarse-grained mustard |
| 3 tbsHorseradish |
Horseradish Cole Slaw Preparation
In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, horseradish, and mustard and stir
In a small mixing bowl, combine the vinegar, sugar, salt, add to the mayonnaise mixture ; mix into cabbage and toss to thoroughly combine.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour and up to overnight
Pour off vinger soak
