If you think ginger snaps are hard and crispy, you'll find these little morsels to be a surprising delight.
Put flour into a bowl and blend in brown sugar with a fork or whisk until well blended. Add spices and soda then blend again. Next add oil, molasses and egg. Blend with a beater until mixture is smooth. Roll into small balls and then roll each around in the sugar bowl. Put on cookie sheet and bake at 350 for about 8 minutes or until cookie crackles.
