| 1 7-oz pkgcoconut |
| 1/2 cupSugar |
| 3 tbspAlmond flour |
| 1/8 tspsalt |
| 2 tbspsweetened condensed milk |
| 1/2 tspalmond extract |
| 1/2 tspvanilla extract |
| 1/4 tsporange zest; (up to 1/2 tsp) |
| 2 egg whites |
| 1/4 cupmini semi sweet chips; (optional) |
Coconut-Orange Macaroons Preparation
pre-heat oven to 325
1. combine first 8 ingredients. mix well.
2. whip whites to stiff peaks. fold into coconut mixture. Mix in chips if desired.
3. drop by tablespoon fulls on to partchment lined baking sheets.
4. Bake for 15-20 minutes. until edges are golden. Cool on wire racks. Drizzle with melted chocolate if desired.
