Asian Dipping Sauce

This will put a smile on your face. I use this dipping sauce as a marinade as well. You can even use it as a basting sauce for chicken, shrimp, and even beef! But I love Chinese dumplings and this is where it gets used the most. Try to make a few hours ahead and serve at room temperature.

Ingredients

Are you making this? 
1 Clove garlic; minced
1 inch chunk ginger root; peeled and minced
8 tablespoons Pearl River Soy Sauce
6 tablespoons Rice Wine Vinegar
1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds
2 Scallions; (thinly chopped), green parts only
1/2 teaspoon sugar; yellow rock if you have it

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a small ceramic or glass bowl and let sit at room temperature for an hour. Refrigerate until an hour before you are ready to use.

This is a real keeper, marinate skirt steak, use as a dipping sauce for pot stickers, egg rolls...rice. Excellent balance of flavors
