| 1 1/3 cupsBisquick; (Heart-Smart) |
| 1 1/2 cupsCheddar cheese; (low fat) shredded |
| 1 canCream of mushroom soup; (fat free) |
| 4 eaEgg white; (or 1/2 c egg product) |
| 1 poundGround beef; (90% lean) |
| 1 cupFrozen mixed vegetables |
| 1/4 cupWater |
Deluxe Cheeseburger Melt (light Recipe) Preparation
Preheat oven to 400? F. Meanwhile, spray a 9x13-inch glass baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. In a medium bowl, stir together water, egg whites (or egg product), Bisquick mix and 1 cup of cheese, spread on bottom of baking dish.
In a large skillet, cook beef over medium-high heat 5-7 minutes, stirring occassionally until brown; drain off fat. Stir in the vegetables and soup until hot. Spread over batter in pan.
Bake for 23-25 minutes or until edges are a light golden brown. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup of cheese and cook for 3-5 more minutes or until cheese is melted.
HIGH ALTITUDE: (3500-6500 ft) No changes.
Notes
I add catsup on top of each slice before serving.
