Scalloped Potatoes Preparation
Heat oven to 350? F. Layer 1/2 of the onion slices and 1/3 of the potatoes in a greased 1-1/2 to 2 quart baking dish.
Sprinkle the mixture with 1 tablespoon of flour, a dash of pepper and 1/2 tsp. of salt; then dot with 1 tablespoon of butter or margarine.
Repeat layers, ending with the potatoes on top. Pour milk over potatoes to barely cover.
Bake uncovered in preheated oven for 1-1/2 to 2 hours or until potatoes are tender. If desired, you may garnish with crumbled bacon.
