Steamed scallion and ginger halibut steaks

Steamed halibut, serve with steamed mixed veg such as carrots, asparagus and shitake mushrooms. Lundberg's Wild rice blend is good with this, as is PF Chang style chilli sauce.

Original recipe makes 2
2 cmthick halibut steaks
Ginger Marinade:
2 tbsprice wine or sake
5.5 tbspsoy sauce
1 tspginger; minced
1 tsptoasted sesame oil
To serve:
3 tbspscallions; shredded
0.25 tspblack pepper; ground
Chilli sauce:
2 tsphot chilli sauce
2 tspSoy sauce
1 tspmustard
4 dropschilli oil

Steamed scallion and ginger halibut steaks Preparation

Rinse fish, place in bowl with marinade ingredients, marinade 30 mins.

Arrange steaks on heat proof plate with lip to collect fish stock. Steam until fish flakes with fork, approx 10 minutes.

Can serve with spoon of chilli sauce a la PF Chang's if desired.
