"I made this recipe into brownie cupcakes, it makes 12 regular sized cupcakes and they are great!! I took them to a going away party and they were a total hit! I shortened the cook time to 15 min for the cupcakes and left enough space at the top of the cupcake liners to pour the frosting on after they were cooked. Melt butter in a saucepan. Add cocoa, sugar and eggs. mix well. Add flour and mix again. Add vanilla and nuts. Bake in greased 8 x 8 pan. 350* 20-22 minutes. Recipe must be doubled to put in a 13 x 9 pan, which is just the right size for the frosting recipe below.
Mix milk and vinegar. Heat butter, milk and cocoa to boiling. Remove from heat and mix in vanilla and sugar. Pour onto brownies. Frosting will be runny but it hardens as it cools.

Gertis 3 months agoMany that have tried this recipe have omitted the frosting....the frosting is what makes these brownies so fudge-like....you MUST give them a try following the entire recipe....you will be AMAZED!!!! YUM!!

Sak2250 3 months agoThese brownies were very easy to make and turned out delicious. Fudgy and not too sugary sweet. Didn't frost them. They don't need it. Kind of thin but we liked them that way. Not sure why a couple of reviewers said they were dry. Must have made them incorrectly. I will surely make them Again.

elizzymartin 6 months agoEasy and delish! I will definitely double the recipe next time because they were very thin in the 6x11 pan I baked them in. I mixed everything in together after I melted the butter instead of in stages, and they were still perfect! I didn't try the frosting.

Sassfrass 8 months agoThey turned out dry and bland and had an odd texture. I even baked them for 15 minutes instead of the recommended 20-22 minutes.

Bumcook 1 year agothese were easy and turned out good, we made them in two jelly roll pans and then placed them on top of each other sandwiching the icing.
