Preheat oven to 350.
Butter 9x13 baking dish.
Place steel-cut oats and butter in a large bowl.
Bring water to a boil and pour over oats.
Cover for 20 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients to the oat-and-butter mixture. Stir until well blended.
Transfer to the 9x13 baking dish.
Bake 35 - 40 minutes, until the center is set.
Remove and serve warm or cold.
Can also be served warm with whipped cream for dessert.
Britanytapani 1 year agoThis is a favorite without the steel cut oats and dried fruit. We like to add blueberry sauce and whipping cream to the top.
