Original recipe makes 6
| 1 20-oz canchunk pineapple; drain and reserve the juice (not syrup) |
| 1 1/2 tbspWhite Vinegar |
| 1 Egg |
| 1/2 cupSugar |
| 1 tbspFlour |
| 8 ouncesCool Whip |
| 2 cupsFuji Apples; Chopped |
| 2 cupsMini Marshmallows |
| 1 1/2 cupsDry Roasted Salted Peanuts; Coarsely Ground |
Taffy Apple Salad Preparation
Boil the pineapple juice, vinegar, sugar, egg, and flour until thick.
Put mixture in refrigerator until cool.
Add cool whip to mixture and blend.
Add pineapple, apples, marshmallows, and peanuts
Chill before serving
