Spicy Black Bean Hummus
Delicious twist on the traditional Hummus.

|1 clovegarlic; peeled|
|2 tbsfresh lemon juice|
|1 tbstahini (roasted sesame seed)|
|1 tspground cumin|
|1 15-oz canblack beans; rinsed and drained|
|1 smalljalapeño pepper; chopped (about 2 tablespoons)|
|1 dashcrushed red pepper|
|2 tspextra-virgin olive oil|
|dashed ground red pepper|
|1 6-oz bagpita chips or sturdy torti|
Spicy Black Bean Hummus Preparation
Place garlic in a food processor; process until finely chopped. Add lemon juice, tahini, cumin, salt, black beans, jalapeño pepper, and crushed red pepper; process until smooth. Spoon bean mixture into a medium bowl, and drizzle with extra-virgin olive oil. Sprinkle with ground red pepper. Serve with pita chips.
