Original recipe makes 4 Servings
4 bonless, skinless chicken breasts; cubed
1 cantomato paste; (the small can)
2 cupsheavy cream
1 teaspoonGarlic; minced
3/4 teaspoonginger; grated
1 tablespoonGaram Masala
2 teaspoonsTumeric
1 tablespoonFenugreek; (I use powder, but seeds can be used too)
1 teaspoonSalt
1 teaspoonCayenne pepper; or add more to taste, depending on how hot you like it
1/2 teaspoonChili powder

Indian Butter Chicken Preparation

Cook chicken in skillet over medium high heat until chicken is cooked through; set aside. Turn heat down to medium and add tomato paste and heavy cream to skillet and bring to a simmer; about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the garlic, ginger and spices and continue to simmer for five more minutes. Then add chicken back in and cook just to reheat chicken and coat it in the sauce. Serve over Basmati rice.

    This was a great meal and was easy to make. I had to use an option for the Fenugreek (couldn't find it at the store :-(

    Amazing! Tastes just like my favorite restaurant! I had no Fenugreek, so I just used the same measurement of yellow mustard seed. Delish!
