saraboysen ,These were bland and they fell apart. The flour coating soaked up the oil in the pan quickly so they did not brown nicely. Also flour coating remained on parts of the burger and looked unappetizing.6y

fergcx1 ,Best black bean burgers I ever made. My husband even liked them. I sub'd cilantro for the parsley, doubled the cumin and omitted the oregano, and added about a 1/4 cup of shredded pepper-jack to the bean mixture to help bind them. These burgers were very easy to form and I baked them in the oven at 375 for about 10 min a side. Will continue to make.9y
kcgilger ,you FOR SURE have to let them sit and meld, i do it overnight. If not they are passable at best. After a night in the fridge they are flavorful and (with some add ons) delicious!!9y

ees55 ,These turned out pretty well. Very fresh and healthy, and I will definitely add more chili powder next time (only used 1 tsp) because I love spice. Jack cheese was really tasty on top. Mashed avocado, mayo, fresh tomato and lettuce made these burgers complete. A little bit of work, but I will probably make them again in the future with a few tweaks. I also added an egg to the mixture this time around to help moisten them up a bit.9y
momiitz ,I made this recipe tonight to go with my tomato soup recipe. It was delicious. It was very easy to make and cheap. The texture was like silk and it had the perfect amount of spices. I will be adding this recipe to my weekly rotation. The leftovers will make an easy lunch.10y
