This is a great (and very simple) beer bread recipe that oddly enough tastes best when using Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer

3 cupsSelf Rising Flour
2 tablespoonsvanilla or almond extract
1 canPabst Blue Ribbon Beer; room temperature

Blue Ribbon Beer Bread Preparation

Slowly mix all ingrediants in a large bowl and place in a greased bread loaf pan. Bake at 350 for one hour. Brush melted butter on the top and let cool. Makes one blond loaf of bread.

This is a very hearty bread and is ideal for French Toast. It is best when fresh but is also wonderful toasted. For a special treat, melt some butter and mix with honey and drizzle on this toasted bread- always a camping crowd pleaser! [I posted this recipe.]
