Strawberries & Cream Banana Bread

Recipes »  Bread  »  Banana Bread

Strawberry and banana is such a tasty combination. The addition of sour cream makes the banana bread more moist and adds something special to the flavor. You can also add 1/2 cup of your favorite nuts if you like.

"Made this today, and within a half hour of removing it from the oven, Hubby was home, and scarfed up 1/2 the loaf in a matter of minutes. (Today is apparently a cheat day :o) ). He's requested me to make another loaf with walnuts ... tomorrow. Thanks for a great recipe!" - pseudodragon

Very delicious! I actually didn't have 9x4 pan, so I used to round cake pans and it came out great! Didn't rise as high, but it still tasted great! Next time I may add 1 cup or brown sugar and 1 cup of white sugar instead of the 1/2 cups...Great Job!

Wonderful recipe! I made it into 22 muffins and sprinkled a little brown sugar on the tops during the last few minutes of baking. The whole family loves them!

Simply amazing! I've added in a 1/4 cup of old fashioned rolled oats in the dry mix. I also sprinkled raw sugar on the top about 10 minutes before its ready, and WOW!
