I am a huge fan of Lot Mein noodles, and am always looking for a decent home version. That is not what this recipe is... I believe this recipe is supposed to be one of the Nappa cabbage recipes. However, the directions aren't clear, and makes it appear to be more of a 'noodle' recipe. After making this (I halved it, thankfully) I still am uncertain what it is supposed to be! The dressing/sauce is not good. I ended up substituting one ingredient, I didn't have peanut oil, but had Tahini (sesame oil product). I have made this substitution before. In my opinion, I wouldn't waste the ingredients to make this. Save money - order Chinese or make plain ramen noodles.
