Arroz con Pollo (Spanish Chicken & Rice)

Recipes »  Main Dish  »  Poultry - Chicken

Easy, simple, and full of flavor. Just like Oma used to make =)

"This dish was pretty tasty! I altered it a bit. I seasoned the chicken with sazon and adobo before cooking it. Also, I didn't have any chicken parts so I used boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into 1" pieces. I added a pinch of red pepper flakes to give it a little kick. Very tastey!" - jenniferoliveira

My kids loved it and all gave it 5 stars. I had to leave out the peas as they are not too keen on them but I added them into my serve and it tasted great.

Yummy! I used 2 cups of jasmine rice, 1 and 3/4 cans of chicken broth, and lots more salt and pepper. I used chicken breast and seasoned it first.

This was excellent. I used beef broth because it's all I had on hand. Added red chilli flakes and some cayenne pepper. Topped off with chives. Left out peas. None on hand. Very tasty. Easy. Jasmine rice.

Yes Crissy198, Sazón does make everything taste better, MSG usually does! I just don't ever use it due to the health risks =(

This has become one of my husbands favorites! I add a pinch of saffron during the simmer before I add the rice. It's definitely a good recipe. Thx!

Glad you liked it, NanMP! Don't make it in the rice cooker next time and it won't be dry...they tend to steam liquids, not really good if you like a saucier dish!

I made this recipe in the rice cooker. I sautéed the chicken, onion and garlic first. I also added a can of chopped green chiles. It was very tasty, but a bit dry.
