| 1 cupflour |
| 1 largeOnion; chopped |
| 1/4 cupred bell pepper; chopped |
| 1/4 cupgreen bell pepper; chopped |
| 1/4 cupyellow bell pepper; chopped |
| 4 clovesGarlic; chopped |
| 1 bunchgreen onions; chopped |
| 1 mediumtomoto; chopped |
| 1 canro tel; mild |
| 1 8-oz cantomato sauce |
| 1 cupWater |
| 1 poundshrimp; deveined |
| Tony''s Seasoning; to taste |
Shrimp Etouffee - Granna's Way Preparation
Melt butter in large skillet. Saute onion, bell peppers & garlic. Add flour and stir until flour begins to brown. Add chopped tomato and green onions, continuing stirring until well mixed. Add rotel, tomato sauce and water. Stir until well mixed and when mixture begins to bubble, add shrimp. Cook on medium heat 10 to 15 minutes, until shrimp are fully cooked. Serve over hot buttered rice.
