Easy Slow-cooker Pot Roast

Ready in 6 hours

This is absolutely tender and wonderful. Leftovers (if any!) make a great soup base.

"I liked this dish but I altered part of it, after 4.5 hours on high I added my diced potatoes and baby carrots and then continued cooking another 2 hours and everything came out beautiful!"

Preparation

This recipe is so easy and delicious.

I buy a good looking piece of beef that will fit in my crockpot. I make one potato per person and about a handful of carrots.

1. Put the beef into the crockpot

2. Sprinkle the onion soup mix over the beef. Then add the carrots, potatoes and any other veggies you might want.

3. Pour stewed tomatoes over all.

4. Cook on high for 6 hours or so.

Very good recipe. Very simple. I avoided the carrots and potatoes and made a gravy with the meat juices. Served it with rice and salad. :)
