Original recipe makes 4
3/4 poundLean mince
1 cupRice crispies
1 largeEgg
1 400 gm canChopped Tomatoes
3/4 tinCondensed oxtail soup
4 ouncesMushrooms; sliced
2 mediumOnions; chopped
1 qtySalt and pepper

Granny Smith Jnr's Italian Meat Balls Preparation

Mix crispies, mince and egg in a bowl, add some finely chopped onion and seasoning.

Make this mixture into walnut sized balls and put into casserole dish. Fry remaining onions and the mushrooms till soft then pour over the meatballs.

Mix chopped tomatoes with the oxtail soup and pour over the meatballs. Cook in oven at 150C for one and a half hours.

MUST be served with spaghetti
