Great salsa. Very similar to the one found at Chili''s restaurant.

"The recipe makes a great consistancy for salsa, and its quite refreshing as is, however I went back and doubled the cumin, added a Tbsp chili powder, 2 Tbsp vinegar, and a Tbsp of pepper and a pinch of cayenne. Original recipe makes 32
1 cantomatoes and green chilies
1 canwhole canned tomatoes; (plus the juice)
4 teaspoonsjalapenos; (canned, diced, not pickled)
1/4 cupyellow onion; (diced)
1/2 tspgarlic salt; (up to 3/4)
1/2 teaspooncumin
1/4 teaspoonSugar
1/2 lime
1/2 habanero; diced (optional)

Salsa Preparation

In food processor place jalapenos and onions.

Process for just a few seconds.

Add both cans of tomatoes, salt, sugar, and cumin.

Process all ingredients until well blended but do not puree.

Place in covered container and chill.

A couple of hours of chilling will help blend and enrich the flavor.
