Jazzes up your fish even non fish lovers will like this.
"I make this dinner a lot. My fiancé absolutely loves it! I use Cod instead of Tilapia because, for some reason, I just don't like the taste of Tilapia. The only other change I make is that I leave out the onions and I use Cayenne pepper instead of hot sauce. We eat the fish over rice. It's so good! "- Daizyangel28

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In buttered 13-by-9-inch baking dish or jellyroll pan, lay fillets in single layer. Do not stack fillets. Brush top with juice. In bowl combine cheese, butter, mayonnaise, onions and seasonings. Mix well with fork. Bake fish in preheated oven 10 to 20 minutes or until fish just starts to flake. Spread with cheese mixture and bake until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Baking time will depend on the thickness of the fish you use. Watch fish closely so that it does not overcook. This fish can also be made in a broiler. Broil 3 to 4 minutes or until almost done. Add cheese and broil another 2 to 3 minutes or until browned.
brookeecobb 3 weeks agothis was delicious! i did make a few changes however. i used paprika instead of hot sauce 1\4 tsp, chives instead of green onion, i used pure sweet cream butter, and lastly i surrounded the fillets with mini sweet peppers and covered them and the fillets with the cheese mixture! :D delicious!!
kristaramartin 5 months agoTaste way better if after you top with butter mix you sprinkle with panko then bake 5, soaks up extra moisture and adds a clean crisp
keith_h_donnell 6 months agoPrepared without hot pepper sauce (because I refuse to make anything spicy). Was a little salty at first taste, added more cheese and was disappointed.

Golizliz 8 months agoSoooo good! Def one of my top fave fish dishes. I had used shredded Parmesan instead and that worked just as good. Easy to make and I had seconds! Made this with rice and broccoli.
