Key Lime Pie
Ingredients
Original recipe makes 6
| Keebler Graham Cracker Pie Crust |
| 3 Eggs; separated |
| 1 14-oz canSweetened Condensed Milk |
| 1 teaspoonLime peel; grated |
| 1/3 cupLime Juice; (2 limes) |
| Whipped Topping; for garnish |
| Food Coloring; (Green, Optional) |
Key Lime Pie Preparation
In large bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form; set aside. In small bowl, beat egg yolks; mix in sweetened condensed milk. Gradually add lime peel and juice. Stir to combine well. Fold mixture into egg whites. Pour into crust. Freeze 3 hours. Let stand 15 minutes at room temperature before serving. Serve with green tinted whipped topping.
