generous dashBlack Pepper; ground

Moist & Savory Stuffing Preparation

Heat broth, pepper, celery and onion in 2-qt. saucepan over high heat to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover and cook for 5 min. or until vegetables are tender.

Add stuffing and stir lightly to coat.

For Savory Stuffing with Cranberries and Pecans: Stir 1/2 cup each dried cranberries and chopped pecans into stuffing mixture.

For Sausage & Mushroom Stuffing: Add 1 cup sliced mushrooms to vegetables while cooking. Stir 1/2 pound cooked and crumbled pork sausage into stuffing mixture.

Notes

It didn't look like it was going to be as good as it was. In fact, the cubes still looked very dry and cube like. Next time I may try this with the non-cube stuffing for a better texture. Otherwise, pretty tasty.
