Chicken, Bacon and Mushroom Slow Cooker Casserole
Easy and delicious"made this for my family and it was a hit but I did try the smokey bacon. My son (22 years old) said the taste was a bit over powering so maybe next time, I will try it with just regular bacon. The sauce was quite thick so I don't know what others were talking about (check out my picture). Served with Coconut Rice, with a side of fresh cuccumers and tomatoes. Chicken, Bacon and Mushroom Slow Cooker Casserole Preparation
Toss chicken thighs in plain flour. Heat oil and fy over high heat to brown.
Add chicken to crockpot.
Fry bacon, button mushrooms, onion and garlic and cook 5 minutes until golden.
Add mixture to crock pot with tinned tomatoes and tomato paste.
Cook covered on low for 4-6 hours or hight for 2-3 hours.
