This is the best Alfredo sauce ever. This is several recipes combined into one. You can also add your choice of meat (chicken, shrimp or even crab).

1. Melt butter in medium saucepan over medium/low heat.
2. Add the garlic, cream, white pepper and bring mixture to a simmer.
3. Stir often.
4. Add the Parmesan cheese and simmer sauce for 8-10 minutes or until sauce has thickened and is smooth.
5. When sauce has thickened add the Mozzarella cheese and stir until smooth. STIR FREQUENTLY.
6. Enjoy over pasta or with warm breadsticks.

michellebolhuis 9 months agoAlfredo sauce was very good I used Parmesan and Romano cheeses. We will make again but my son insists it needs a little cream cheese.

kyjaxmom 10 months agoThis was delicious. I lightened it up a little by using half and half instead of heavy cream and using half the butter and half light margarine. I also think the mozzarella could be omitted but my cheese loving husband and son disagree. Will be making this often.

MikeUrb 11 month agoMade this and it came out great. put in grilled chicken, sweet peas, broccoli, a halved cherry tomatoes. topped w homemade toasted breadcrumbs. very very good!
Mattman71 11 month agoGreat Recipe! We found the heavy cream was a bit much, Next time I would substitute 18% cream for heavy cream.
