Original recipe makes 6
1/2 cup ofFlour
1 cupSugar
1 stickButter; melted
2 Eggs
1 teaspoonvanilla extract
1 cupchocolate chips; for my personal touch, make it a heaping cup
1 cuppecan halves
1 pie crust; I prefer graham cracker myself

Southern Chocolate Chip Pecan Pie Preparation

preheat oven to 375 degrees

mix flour and sugar with melted butter and eggs and let the butter cool till about room temperature. Add vanilla, chocolate chips and pecans. Pour into pie crust and place in oven for 45-60 min.

Some people prefer to let it bake for a while and then add the chocolate chips and pecans. It's your choice. Best served with whipped cream and ice cream. [I posted this recipe.]
