Original recipe makes 24
2 1/2 cupFlour
1/2 cupSugar
1/2 cupCanola Oil
3 tablespoonBaking Powder
3 Egg
1/2 teaspoonVanilla
Colored sprinkles
1 cupPowdered sugar
1/2 teaspoonVanilla
1/4 teaspoonAnise extract

Mary's Christmas Anise Cookies Preparation

Sift together flour, baking powder and sugar. Beat eggs with oil and vanilla and incorporate into flour mixture working by hand. If sticky, add more flour. Roll out on floured surface or pinch off dough to form balls. Place on lightly greased baking sheet - Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until done. Do not overbake. Dip into anise icing - sprinkle with colored sprinkles.
