This is a Traditional Dish made easy. Hearty and flavorful it is a must try for every home cook!
Heat EVOO in a Large Pan on Med/Low heat.
Add Onion and cook until translucent. Add Garlic and carrots. Cook for 2-3 Minutes. Add Mushrooms, Tyme, Salt, Pepper, and Parsley. Combine well and cook 2-3 Minutes. Add Lamb and Ground Beef combine well and saute until browned. Add broth, Peas, Tomatoes, Flour, and Green Onion. Combine well and simmer for 2 minutes.
In a large pot boil potatoes with Kosher salt until fork tender. Strain. Place back in pot and add Milk, Butter, and Sour Cream. Mash Well.
In a deep oven safe dish add meat and veggies combination. Layer on top the mashed potatoes.
Make sure to push the mashed potatoes to the corners to avoid fluid from coming up from the meat.
In a preheated 400 Degree Oven place the dish in the middle shelf and bake for 25-30 minutes or until Potatoes are slightly browned.
Let cool before serving.
