Frito Chili Pie

Recipes »  Soups, Stews and Chili  »  Chili

A casserole handed down from my father. Super easy and enjoyable by all ages!

"Oh, so good! One of my kids had 5 helpings of this. I did not bother to do all the layering - I mixed the meat with the chili and the corn and then just did a layer of Fritos, layer of meat mixture, layer of cheese and then repeated that. It was quick to make and all the ingredients were easy to find, except for the Fritos it's all stuff I would normally have on hand." - lisafriswoldwaeltermann

Very good & simple recipe. I also added garlic clove, cumin, green pepper & onion. I used a deep 2quart dish. Cooked 50 minutes. Added more cheese than recommended. Would NOT recommend reheating this recipe. Fritos will be soggy.
