Original recipe makes 12
1 cupwater; boiling
3 regular-sized tea bags
3.5 cupsWater
1.5 cups ofamaretto
1 cupSugar
6 canfrozen orange juice concentrate; thawed and undiluted
6 canfrozen lemonade concentrate; thawed and undiluted
2 33.8-oz bottlesGinger Ale; chilled
1 jarcherries
1 fresh orange

Amaretto Slush Preparation

Pour boiling water over tea bags, cover, and let stand 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and discard. Transfer tea to a 2-quart freezer container. Stir in 3.5 cups water, amaretto, sugar, orange juice, and lemonade. Cover and freeze until firm. To serve, partially thaw util slushy. Pour equal amounts of slush mixture and Ginger Ale into serving glass. Garnish with a cherry and orange slice on a toothpick.
