| 2 sticksButter |
| 1/2 cupshortening |
| 3 1/4 cupsFlour |
| 1/2 tspsalt |
| 1/2 tspbaking powder |
| 1 cupmilk |
| 1 tspvanilla |
| 1 tsplemon flavoring |
Carolina Pound Cake Preparation
Cream sugar , eggs, butter, and shortening. Sift flour and baking powder together. Mix all together and add flavorings. Grease and flour tube pan. Bake at 325 for 1 1/2 hours or until done.
