Cajun Turkey Cheeseburgers with Tabasco Ketchup
Original recipe makes 4
| Vegetable oil cooking spray |
| 1/2 Red bell pepper |
| 1/2 Green pepper |
| 1/2 Yellow pepper |
| 1 poundGround turkey |
| 1 teaspoonOld Bay Seasoning |
| 1/4 teaspoonCayenne pepper |
| 4 slicesPepper jack cheese |
| 4 English muffins; whole grain |
| 2 tablespoonTomato paste |
| 1 tablespoonSour cream; nonfat |
| 3/4 teaspoonTabasco sauce |
| 1/2 teaspoonVinegar; White |
| 1/4 teaspoonSalt |
| 1/8 teaspoonSalt |
Cajun Turkey Cheeseburgers with Tabasco Ketchup Preparation
Heat grill over medium-high heat. Coat a medium pan with cooking spray. Saute peppers 20 minutes over medium-low heat. Combine tomato paste, sour cream, Tabasco sauce, 1/8 teaspoon salt and vinegar. Set aside. Combine turkey, Old Bay Seasoning, 1/4 teaspoon salt and Cayenne pepper. Form into 4 patties. Grill patties 4 minutes each side or until juices run clear. Remove from heat and top each patty with a slice of cheese. Toast English muffins; spread with ketchup. Place each patty on a muffin; top with peppers
