Yates' Sauteed Mushrooms
Original recipe makes 2
| 8 ouncesMushrooms; (fresh, raw, washed and sliced - can use more for more servings) |
| 2 tablespoonsButter |
| 2 tablespoonsolive oil |
| 1 clovegarlic; finely chopped |
| 1/4 eaOnion; finely chopped |
| 1 teaspoonShallot; finely chopped |
| 2 teaspoonsLemon juice |
| 2 teaspoonsWorcestershire Sauce |
| 3 tablespoonsCooking sherry; (or white or red wine, or brandy/cognac) |
| 1/2 tablespoonDijon mustard |
| 1/2 teaspoonPepper; adjust to taste |
| 1/2 teaspoonSalt; adjust to taste |
Yates' Sauteed Mushrooms Preparation
Melt Butter in skillet set to medium high
Add all other ingredients except mushrooms and sautee while stirring until onions start to become translucent
Add mushrooms and sautee while stirring until all the liquid in the pan has cooked off the ingredients start to caramelize slightly (about 15 minutes)
