Ingredients
| 3 tablespoonsextra virgin olive oil |
| 4 clovesgarlic; sliced thin |
| 2 bay leaves |
| 0.25 teaspoondried red pepper flakes |
| 50 largeshrimp; (2 pounds- 21/25 count) |
| 3 tablespoonsdry sherry |
| 1 fresh lemon; cut in half and juiced |
| 2 tablespoonsChopped fresh parsley |
Spicy Garlic Shrimp Preparation
In a large frying pan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the garlic, bay leaves and red-pepper flakes and cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Raise the heat to high and add the shrimp to the pan and stir to combine. Cook quickly, stirring until the shrimp are done, 4 to 5 minutes. Do not overcook or shrimp become tough and chewy. Stir in the sherry, lemon juice, and parsley, heat through for one minute and serve immediately.
