Original recipe makes 4
2 cupsalmonds; soaked
1/4 cuptahini
1 lemon; juiced
2 clovesGarlic; crushed
1 cupWater
2 tablespoonsolive oil
1 tablespooncumin
1 1/2 teaspoonssea salt
1 teaspoonground black pepper

Almond Hummous - Raw Food Diet Preparation

Finely chop almonds in food processor. Add 1/2 cup water and continue blending for 2-3 minutes until creamy. Remove from food processor.

Combine tahini, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, cumin, salt, and pepper and 1/4 cup water in food processor. Process until smooth, add remaining water as required.

Add almond mixture and process for another couple minutes until blended well.

I serve this with vegetable crudites. Pieces of carrot, cucumber, red bell pepper.
