Saucy Mushroom Pork Chops
Original recipe makes 4
| 8 eachPork chops; boneless, thin |
| 1/2 cupFlour; for dredging |
| 1/2 teaspoonSalt; really to taste |
| 1/2 teaspoonBlack pepper; to taste |
| 1/2 teaspoonPaprika |
| 1 jarBrown Mushroom Gravy; heinz brand preferred |
| 2 teaspoonCanola oil |
| 1/2 cupWater |
Saucy Mushroom Pork Chops Preparation
Combine the flour, salt, pepper and paprika on a small plate or in a ziploc bag (whichever method of dredging you prefer is fine)
Place oil in skillet and bring to medium heat -- add pork chops
Fry for about 5 minutes on each side or until golden brown
Add jar of gravy and 1/2 cup of water to chops -- cover and simmer 15 minutes
Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
