Apple Pie To Die For

An absolute favorite!

"The directions for this confused me a little as the ingredients don't mention buying a prepared pie shell but I ended up using one from the freezer aisle at the store. Before baking, the apples were piled high in the middle, I almost thought 6 was too many. But it bakes down a good bit and ends up tasting amazing. This is definitely a keeper." - kellierlsten

For the butter in the topping, do you melt it or just put it in softened? I put it in softened, but was thinking afterward that maybe it should have been melted. Thanks! Wonderful pie!

This is one of the most wonderful apple pies I have ever tasted! If I could give this more than 5 stars I would!!! The only complaint is that I can never get enough of this pie!
