Delicious pretzels that are always a hit with the family
Sprinkle yeast on lukewarm water in large mixing bowl.
Add sugar and salt, stir to dissolve.
Add flour and knead dough until smooth and elastic.
Let rise for at least 30 minutes.
Prepare a baking soda water bath with 2 cups warm water and 2 Tbsp of baking soda, stirring often.
After dough has risin, pinch off bits of dough and roll inot a long rope about 1/2 inch thick. Shape into pretzel form, dip pretzel into baking soda solution and place on greased baking sheet. Allow pretzels to rise again.
Bake in 450 degree oven for about 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
Brush with butter, sprinkle salt to taste.
Roll the dough as long and thin as possible
