Original recipe makes 2
1 8-oz canchopped clams
3 oz.Butter
2 clovesGarlic
10 oz.Linguine
2 teaspoonDry Thyme
2 teaspoonDry Parsley
2 ozParmesan; (up to 3oz), Grated
2 oz.heavy cream
1 salt and pepper; to taste

Linguine in Clam Sauce Preparation

begin by cooking the pasta in salted water.

place butter in skillet on medium heat and once the butter is melted add the chopped garlic and cook for about 1 minute, then add the clams with the juice from the can. cook down the juice for two to three minutes. Add the thyme, parsley, salt, pepper and cook for one more minute. Add the cream, the grated parmesan and stir until it comes together as a sauce. Once the pasta is cooked, drain and add the pasta directly to the sauce and stir.
