Ingredients

1 medium fresh bitter gourd; sliced in half, scrape seeds, chop then rinse with rock salt 2 t
3 medium fresh tomatoes
1 medium fresh red onion
2 tablespoons honey
1 pinch salt and pepper; to taste
0.25 cup lemon juice or calamansi juice

Servings  

Preparation

Mix all ingredients in one medium bowl. Transfer the mixture on a serving plate garnished with sliced cucumber or topped on a bed of lettuce. Serve cold or at room temperature.

Thks for posting this recipe. Excellent ! I added coriander leaves too. Used 1+ tbsp of honey for reduced sweetness. Do you hv any recipe for bitter gourd juice combinations ? Thks again.

don't rinse or squeeze the bitter gourd with salt too much. You might lose the nutrients which found in squeezing the green color of the bitter gourd. Two times are enough. [I posted this recipe.]
