Yummy bacon wrapped smokies easy to make and great for a football party !
"Made for New Years Eve party. Keeping the waiting bacon chilled makes the wrapping easier. Also, I put the wrapped smokies into a container with the brown sugar and shook it to coat well. Flip halfway through baking for best results. Honey mustard dipping sauce would go nicely with thi"- TheZil

Pre-heat oven to 350. Cut bacon strips into thirds and wrap each third around a little smokie. Coat the smokies wrapped in bacon in brown suger (the more coated the better) place on broiler rack of pan cover drip tray with foil for easy clean up later. Place in oven and bake for 45 minutes or so until the bacon is crispy, turn halfway if desired. Makes the house smell so good and they are really yummy !

jetlajolla 5 months agoEasy and good. I made these per recipe then transferred to a crock pot on 'warm' for my party, and everyone loved it. The bacon I got from Costco had more fat than I would have liked so next time I'll keep an eye out for bacon without so much fat. Otherwise it was perfect.
