We had the most delicious green beans at an Italian restaurant recently. I've tried to replicate them and I have to say these were awesome!

"i made this Wednesday night with baked Salmon topped with fresh lump crabmeat sprinkled with parmensan cheese & garlic buttered whit rice. my husband loved the entire meal that he asked me to make the green beans tonight! yippee! making them tonight with a roasted chicken & mashed potatoes. This was a great way to add a little pizzaz to plain old green beans. I sauted a few fresh mushrooms and bacon bits too. Great side dish!

Great! Had lots of beans and very small onion so also added some garlic to the pan. Added some Marsala wine at same time as vinegar. Thanks for this simple yet wonderful recipe!!

I think was one of the first times I've actually enjoyed the veggies more than I did the meat portion of dinner.
