Ready in 3 hours
This is a very simple recipe and as long as you have a stand mixer the pizza dough is very easy to make! This recipe makes 1 to 2 pizza doughs depending on how big you make your pizzas.
"Very good. I used garlic salt instead of regular salt. The dough was too sticky so I had to add 1/2 cup of extra flour to the mixer. It made one 16" pizza after letting it rise for 2 hours punching it down after 1 hour. I took some to my neighbor and she said it looked like a restaurant pizza. I will definately be making this again. "- Thejoyous1

Put all dry ingredients in the bowl of a stand mixer.
Put beater paddle on mixer and turn to low speed.
Fill measuring cup with the hottest water that will come out of your tap. (135 - 140*)
Add 1 TBS of olive oil to hot water.
Pour water into mixer. Turn speed to medium low.
Mix until ingredients form a ball.
Change to dough hook attachment and beat at medium speed for 15 minutes. This will create a shiny, firm dough ball.
Grease inside of a zip top bag.
Place dough ball inside bag.
The dough ball can be used almost immediately or after a few hours of rising. You can also make the day before and place in fridge. Remove from fridge 3 to 4 hours before needed. (This creates a more yeasty flavored dough. Tasty!)
When you are ready - press and stretch the dough out. If you have never done this before I am sure you can find a video to show you how to form a pizza. Add ingredients and place in a 500* oven on a cookie sheet or pizza stone for great pizza!

sunnygal 1 year agoVery fast and easy. First time for me to make pizza dough. I made two batches, the first following the recipe as directed. The second batch I used garlic salt and a tsp of dried Italian Seasoning. Both turned out great. I used the second batch to make mini-pizzas and put some in the freezer for quick snacks.

SpankyT 2 years agoReading the reviews definitely helped. Needed the tips y'all gave, thanks! I'm a new cook though and still couldn't get it quite right. I'd recommend an easier recipe for not yet skilled cooks.
tupp 3 years agoMade this dough last night-very tasty. Let it rise for a couple of hours, then made the pie. The fact that all the kneading is done in the stand mixer makes it my new go to pizza dough.

Zander528 4 years agoThis will work best if you have a stand mixer. If you don't you can bring the ball together inside a food processor. You will have to kneed by hand though. These can be kept in the fridge for 4 - 5 days. They get really flavorful! You can freeze them too [I posted this recipe.]
