At first I was skeptical about how good this would taste. Now I am totally convinced that I've found a low carb, high protein alternative to satisfy my peanut butter cup cravings.

Original recipe makes 1
1.5 cupsugar-free chocolate flavored dairy beverage*
3 tbspnatural peanut butter
2 tbspwhey protein powder (chocolate or vanilla)
2 tbspunsweetened baking cocoa
1 tbspsugar-free chocolate flavored syrup, or to taste**
3 ice cubes; (up to 4)

Peanut Butter Cup Smoothie (Low Carb) Preparation

Combine all ingredients in blender and process until smooth.

*I use Calorie Countdown.

**This is the thinner type of syrup used to flavor coffees (e.g. DaVinci, Torani), not the product like Hershey's or Nestle's makes.
